So I picked up The Pore-fessional In the airport (duty-free) back in August, and have been using It daily since. I apply this on my cheeks, forehead, chin and across my nose, so basically the more oily areas of my face are where my pores would tend me to worse/more noticeable than other areas. My first impression was the colouring of the product Itself. It has a creamy/foundation colour to it and the consistency is gorgeous, really creamy and soft when applied to the skin and blends In like a dream. It it colourless when applied and I will say it feels great on the skin when first applied. I have always used a primer, mainly because I like a base to go off and putting make up straight onto the skin and clogging up your pores is never good, where as a primer gives that extra bit of a barrier. With this one I honestly never really notice much of a difference besides the fact the my foundation goes on alot smoother and Is easier to work with, but the lasting effect is a bit of a let down.
I have nothing negative to say about this product, other than it's hefty price tag at €34 (Debenhams.ie). As i mentioned above I picked this up in the airport under Duty-Free so I only paid around €24-25 which a would still class being a bit over price due to the size. One thing I do love is the packaging, your not going to miss out on any product or even have to cut It open near the end because it's a squeeze tube which Is great, especially when your paying that kind of money there is nothing worse than all the product at the end having to go to waste!
Before I purchased this I had never read up any reviews or looked in the product which i usually do before i really invest in something but this was a little bit of an impulse buy. I will definitely use up the rest of the product, but in the future I think I'll be sticking to my Catrice or Gosh primer (very similar consistency). The main reason I was so disappointed is because I'm a true Benefit lover but I just don't what the big deal Is. My pores really don't look much smaller at all and the lasting effect is a major downer.
I definitely wouldn't repurchase this product, I really just don't think it is worth the money. Maybe to someone with overly big pores this could be a life saver, but it's just not for me! I always picked up the Soleil Tan De Chanel In duty-free to so If any one would like to see hear a review on that, please let me know :)
So, whats your favourite primer, anything out there that I should give a try?
Thanks for reading!
